Usb Xhci Compliant Host Controller Windows 10 Download
Three days ago I've restarted my PC and suddenly all USB ports had stopped working. I have PS/2 Mouse and thats how I'm navigating through Windows. I have opened the Device Manager and saw that there's yellow exclamation mark right next to the USB xHCI Host Controller Driver. I've tried reinstalling, Disable/Enable used DriverEasy but nothing.. Also I've uninstalled the last Win10 update. I will be really thankful if you could help me.

Usb Xhci Compliant Host Controller Driver
I am sorry to hear that your USB 3.0 port is not working after you updates to Windows 8.1. I assume from your post that the port worked prior under Windows 8?
I will see if we have any updated drivers for this model as I am only seeing the VGA driver for Windows 8.1 on our support site. However, if we do have an available driver the only suggestion would be to reinstall the factory load so you will have access to your USB 3.0 ports.
Please check back as I hope to have an answer about the Windows 8.1 drivers soon.
- Thank you for reply. I did not check USB3 functionality under Windows8.0 I have got new HDD and did clean Windows 8.0 install. After that tons of update including Windows 8.1 Where I can get a copy/download 'Factoty Load'? The original HDD is dead. Thanks
I'm seeing a similar issue on my Aspire V3-551 laptop. The usb 3 port worked in the past, but a few weeks ago it died. Device Manager showed a xHCI Compliant Host lacked a driver. After messing around, it now just says a Universal System Bus (USB) Controller says there are no compatible drivers with an error code 28.
Help please!?!
